Xi Jinping stressed that the two sides should carry forward the traditional friendship and strive to achieve cooperation and common development between the two countries. It is necessary to give full play to the political leading role of high-level exchanges, strengthen top-level design, and ensure the sustained and in-depth development of exchanges and cooperation in various fields. It is necessary to maintain exchanges between the governments, legislatures, and political parties of the two countries, strengthen communication on bilateral relations, and build consensus. China appreciates Bangladesh's valuable support on issues involving China's core interests, and will, as always, firmly support Bangladesh in safeguarding its independence and sovereignty, exploring a development path in line with its own national conditions, and maintaining political and social stability. China-Bangladesh cooperation has broad prospects and great potential. The two sides should strengthen cooperation in key areas such as trade, investment, production capacity, energy and power, transportation, information and communications, infrastructure construction, and agriculture, promote cooperation in the field of digital economy, and jointly build the "Digital Silk Road". China is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Bangladesh in education, culture, youth and media, so as to inherit and carry forward the traditional friendship between China and Bangladesh. China is willing to continue to provide support for Bangladesh's counter-terrorism and law enforcement capacity building.
Hasina expressed warm congratulations on the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and congratulated today's China on its great new achievements under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Bangladesh cherishes the friendly relations between Bangladesh and China created by the older generation of leaders of the two countries, firmly supports the one-China policy, and thanks China for its long-term and valuable support. In the process of striving to realize the "Golden Bangladesh" dream proposed by the founding father Mujib Rahman, Bangladesh looks forward to continuing China's support, improving the level of trade and investment between the two sides, and deepening infrastructure construction, digital economy, and climate change., Anti-terrorism security and other fields. Bangladesh is willing to learn from China's experience in governance, actively participate in the joint construction of the "Belt and Road", and promote the construction of the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor.
