　　pharmacological action]Pharmacodynamics Amoxicillin is a β-lactam antibiotic with broad-spectrum antibacterial effect. Antibacterial spectrum and antibacterial activity and ampicillin are basically the same, the antibacterial activity of most gram-positive bacteria is slightly weaker than penicillin, sensitive to penicillinase, so it is invalid for penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. It has a strong effect on gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Proteus, Salmonella, Haemophilus, Brucella and Pasteuella, but these bacteria are easy to produce drug resistance. Not sensitive to Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Because of its better absorption than ampicillin in monogastric animals and higher blood concentration, it has a better effect on systemic infection. It is suitable for systemic infection of respiratory system, urinary system, skin and soft tissue caused by sensitive bacteria.

Pharmacokinetics Amoxicillin is quite stable to gastric acid and absorbed by 74% to 92% after oral administration in monogastric animals. Gastrointestinal contents affect its absorption rate, but does not affect the degree of absorption, so it can be mixed feeding administration. After oral administration of the same dose, the serum concentration of amoxicillin was 1.5 to 3 times higher than that of ampicillin.
