Galicam-florfenicol powder
[main ingredient] florfenicol
[character] this product is white or white powder.
[pharmacological] pharmacodynamics florfenicol belongs to amide alcohol broad-spectrum antibiotics, is a bacteriostatic agent, by binding with the ribosomal 50S subunit inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis and play a role. It has strong antibacterial activity against a variety of gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative bacteria. Pasteurellosis haemolyticus, Pasteurellosis multocidans and Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae of swine were highly sensitive to florfenicol. The antibacterial activity of florfenicol against many microorganisms in vitro is similar to or stronger than that of thiamphenicol. Some bacteria resistant to amide alcohols due to acetylation, such as Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae, may still be sensitive to florfenicol.
It is mainly used for bacterial diseases of pigs, chickens and fish caused by sensitive bacteria, such as hemolytic pasteurellosis, pasteurellosis and actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae caused by bovine and porcine respiratory diseases. Salmonella caused by typhoid and paratyphoid, chicken cholera, pullorum, colibacillosis, etc.; fish bacillus, Vibrio, Staphylococcus aureus, hydrophila, enteritis, etc.
Pharmacokinetics florfenicol oral absorption is rapid, about 1 hours after the blood can reach the therapeutic concentration, 1~3 hours to reach the peak blood concentration. The bioavailability is more than 80%. Florfenicol is widely distributed in animals and can penetrate the blood-brain barrier. Mainly in the original form from the urine, a small amount with the feces.
[drug interactions] (1) macrolides and linco amines have the same target of action as this product, both of which are combined with the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosome and can produce mutual antagonism when combined.
(2) It may antagonize the bactericidal activity of penicillins or aminoglycosides, but it has not been demonstrated in animals.
【Function and USES 】 Amide alcohol antibiotics. It is used for bacterial diseases caused by Pasteuli and E. coli.
